1. Polish BG spotted a group of migrants inside Poland and approached it.
2. The migrants turned out to be Iraqis.
3. As there were children amongst the migrants, the BGs took them to a BG barracks for a standard check-up
4. The migrants were given food and drinks. None of them required any medical help.
5. The BG asked the migrants if they wanted to apply for asylum.
6. The migrants answered that they were not interested in applying for asylum in Poland under any circumstances and were only interested in applying for asylum in Germany.
7. The entire group was escorted back to the Belarusian border and ordered to leave Poland immediately.

Economic Outlook Europe Q4 2021: A Faster-Than-Expected Liftoff

The rebound of the European economy since restrictions were lifted in March/April has been surprisingly strong, both in terms of GDP and employment, leading us to raise our growth forecasts for 2021 to 5.1%, from 4.4% in our previous forecast.

Meanwhile, there is more evidence that the COVID-19 crisis has done limited damage to the overall economy--likely a result of the swift government and monetary policy response put in place to avoid layoffs and bankruptcies. First, the labor market has been recovering at a faster pace than usual, with employment almost twice as responsive to GDP as in normal times. Second, companies' margins have already surpassed pre-crisis levels and their investment ratio has been recovering to much higher levels than in past crises (see chart 7).

Polish BG complained that someone toss rotten potatoes at their car from across Belarusian border.

Why don't they instead of winging throw back rotten apples that they can't sell to Russia anymore?

lol
i. The Polish BG reported Belarusian BG having thrown unidentified objects at the Polish BG's car rather than "rotten potatoes".
ii. You are totally wrong regarding the comment with "rotten apples". After Russia banned Polish apples, we discovered alternative markets where we can sell apples at a better price. The next thing is, Belarus buys a fvckton of apples in Poland and resells it as "Belarusian apples" in Russia. No loss for Poland, but a big loss for the average Russian who has to pay more money. Most food products are far more expensive in Russia comparing to Poland despite Russians having lower wages. You can see numerous videos about it on YT.

Better than having to eat apples from China, Poland can even produce much more apples and the EU will consume them.

Just for Information (which many don't know and should also not know) just paint chines flags on teh cans and see what happens (in reality tehy paint a littel italian flag on teh can):

We still import lots of contaminated foodstuff from China, fed to us by the China profiteurs (No label of origin reqiured for processed foods) if you can it and add water and salt ist processed tada).

People don't know what S**t they are sold in the supermarket. There are some companies like Frosta (produces ready to eat frozen meals) which list all ingredients and their origin. But not many ar as open about it, even (frozen or ready to bake) bread is imported from China.

Ist crazy, they should tax them heftily (a wait cannot happen have to think of poor importers) or just stop the import completely on grounds of health concerns.

Funny how Chinese mock US food while eating stuff grown on a chemical dump

Fresh produce must be have an origins declaration I never buy stuff from China. I also only buy directly pressed juice as e.g. apple juice from concentrate is often from China. Same applies to canned fruits, beans and tomato sauce. I only buy tomato sauce from Italy or make it myself with fresh european tomatoes.

The import checks are a joke and illiterate chinese farmers spray highly toxic chemicals (and forbidden in the west) on their fruits and are not even able to read the instructions properly.

What does it help me if we have tight laws and regulations which are bypassed by greedy importers and desinterested customs folks don't check it properly.

Thsi is a point the EU has to get pressure from the consumer regarding the obfuscation of product origins.

The consumer should choose what he wants to buy based on transparent informations

It is really not needed as we can import beans and stuff also from south america for example. Costs maybe 10 - 20 Cents more but good invested money.

And UK can now have GM crops......... (Y) (COVID vaccine built in:rolleyes:)

I see this as a wider problem also not only related to EU, the US has similar rules. These laws only protect importers of cheap S**t and not the consumer. In fact the consumer is actively mislead. Nobody thinks of China apples when drinking apple juice.

The awareness regarding this topic must rise and be communicated widely. I annoy people I know, but I just want to inform them, and maybe next time at the supermarket they think about it.

I just want it declared, people can buy it nevertheless if they think the price difference is worth it. But I don't want it and I need to see where its from.

Another thing is strawberrys, many producers buy it in China for 60 Cent a kilo.

Regarding decalaration of origin, some are already after it, organisations like Foodwatch for example demand it too.

Subject: Mandatory declaration of origin to be extended to all foodstuffs in the EU
Under European legislation, declaration of origin is mandatory only for certain foodstuffs or in cases where its absence may mislead consumers. Even so, the requirements are particularly flexible, allowing manufacturers to declare the origin as simply being inside or outside the EU or indicate that the provenance of the primary ingredient differs from the country of origin.
Bearing in mind:
The European Parliament request for mandatory declaration of origin for all types of milk/dairy products and meat products and for its extension to food consisting of a single ingredient;
The ‘EAT ORIGINAL’ European Citizens’ Initiative, which has so far gathered 878 861 signatures, calling on the Commission to seek mandatory declaration of origin for all foods;
The fact that mandatory declaration of origin will help prevent unfair commercial practices harmful to public health, the common market and national economies, thereby enhancing the added value of European agri-food products;
The fact that seven Member States have already adopted provisional national measures concerning foods not otherwise subject to mandatory declaration of origin;
Can the Commission provide the following information:
1.Is it considering the possibility of extending mandatory declaration of origin to all foodstuffs?
2.What conclusions has it reached regarding the provisional measures currently being implemented in certain Member States and their impact on consumers, the internal market and trade?

So Polish farmers received EU compo under false pretense?

There were some temporary problems before the new markets were found. On the other hand, you were implying that Poland still have problems due to being able to sell apples to Russia. Bad luck. It's not the case anymore.

No more piss-taking and Luka will have to find an alternative #shitholeCountry to smuggle migrants from.

This took too long. Next time an international carrier decides to illegally ship around refugees wanting to knock at the EUs door and live of welfare there an immediate flight ban to and from the complete EU must be imposed in the respective airlines.

Ah and restrict also their spare parts availability ?

And destroy Airbus in the process?
