Ashland, part of the Wasp ARG, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response for any type of contingency. PASSEX enabled the Wasp ARG and the JMSDF a chance to practice communications and maneuvering procedures.
