Here is an idea: Let's kill that programme and order six more F127's instead. They'd be vastly more capable anyway.
Germany wanted those constraints on the design, the shipbuilder merely incorporated them.

Of course. That wasn't what I meant. That was just a reference to the opportunity to upgrade the design.
It's often not that easy to simply switch designs even if only contract-wise before the keel has even been laid.

Rheinmetall has unveiled its new Squad Support Weapon 40 (SSW40), a shoulder-fired magazine-fed automatic grenade launcher. It has a range of up to 1,000 metres, weighs 4 kilograms and can fire all available 40 mm munition, including low velocity and medium velocity varieties. The German Army is the first customer. I am guessing that Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Lithuania and Estonia will all be operating the same model of CV90 and this model is it. It looks to be the same as the upgraded Dutch vehicle.

I mean unless the door handle on the Norwegian driver' hatch rotates 45 degrees instead of 30 or some other typical BS.

From what I've read, the Ukrainians like the CV90's. Fast, low silhouette, good firepower and crew protection.

Saab and the French defence procurement agency, Direction générale de l'armement (DGA), have today signed a joint declaration of intent regarding the sale of Saab’s GlobalEye Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft to France, including ground equipment, training and support.

The joint declaration of intent, which was signed today at the Paris Air Show, includes DGA’s intention to procure two GlobalEye aircraft from Saab. The joint declaration of intent also includes an option for DGA to purchase two additional aircraft.

A final notification process to complete the procurement will now follow. The DGA has stated that a contract is expected to be finalised in the coming months. The parties have not yet entered into a contract and Saab has not yet received an order for GlobalEye from France.
