Things is, the US isn't taking Syrian refugees in by the boatload.

Hopefully "the plan" Trump has in mind becomes reality, thing on which I wouldn't bet. Flux of migrants/refugees from Syria won't stop, instead of one ethnic group it will be another.
And hopefully, again, these migrants/refugees will behave better than their predecessors.

When it comes to intentions however, I will stick to trusting Trump over Ursulla. To each its own, but if a choice has to be made, well... that's mine.
