The transfer of 5.56-mm automatic carbines to selected units of the Land Forces planned by the beginning of 2019 by the Polish Territorial Defense Army (WOT) has not yet taken place. The transfer was supposed to concern 1800 carbines, but due to approval by the Armament Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense changes to carbines "Grot" C16 FB-M1 (MSBS-5,56KA0). After agreeing with future users, it was decided that the Land Forces would go no older versions, but the changed version of the "Grot" C16 FB-M2 (MSBS-5,56KA1). All previously supplied carbines used by the Territorial Defense Army are to be brought into this standard.

The changes mainly concern invisible outside technical and technological modifications (including firing pin modifications), as well as the introduction of a different stock with adapters for attaching the support belt. The weapon will also be shipped with more additional accessory rails.
Carbines will be handed over to units notified by Poland to the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) as part of the NATO Response Force 2020. At the end of June 2019, the VJTF-20 brigade command was certified, the core of which are soldiers of the 21st Podhale Rifles Brigade. It is them and the paratroopers from the Polish 6th Airborne Brigade will receive the improved carbines " Grot" C16 FB-M2 (MSBS-5,56KA1).

At the beginning of July 2019, the press service of the West Virginia State National Guard (WVARNG) reported that the training was over. Ridge Runner 19-02 with elements of irregular actions with the participation of representatives of the Polish Territorial Defense Army (in Polish: Wojska Obrony Terytorialnej - WOT) and the Latvian counterpart, (in Latvian: Latvijas Republikas Zemessardze - ZS). The training was conducted by instructors from the U.S. 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

The training included vehicle inspection techniques and territorial defense cooperation with special units. A parachute landing from the UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter deck was also carried out at the newly established WVARNG dump zone at Reedsville Farm near Camp Dawson.
Ridge Runner is a WVARNG training program, within which territorial defense units and operational forces of NATO countries train and gain experience in conducting irregular and asymmetrical operations. The training is conducted by WVARNG special units in various parts of West Virginia. Ridge Runner is implemented several times a year. It is an initiative of the National Guard Office under the State Partnership Program (SPP). As part of the SPP, the Illinois National Guard (ILARNG) unit is a WOT partner, and the Michigan State Guard (MIARNG) is a ZS partner.

On July 8, the Polish National Headquarters of the Border Guard signed a contract for the supply of subsequent automatic carbines with the Łucznik-Radom Arms Factory supplied with a 5.56 mm x 45 NATO cartridge. The weapon is to be handed over to border guards by 30 September 2019.
Carbines were purchased as part of the Police, Border Guard, State Fire Brigade and Government Protection Bureau modernization programs in 2017-2020. According to its provisions, by 2020 border guards are to receive 4,400 new shooting constructions for ammunition 5.56 mm x 45.

@Conhoon
If I may, you don't happen to have experience with the W-3 helicopter or can point me towards reports about it? What does the Polish military think of it? Recently I learnt the Saxony State Police had been flying the type for a while, which I think is pretty cool.

I do not know where to find reports and opinions on the W-3 helicopter in English. PZL W-3 Sokól is a multirole helicopter of Polish construction and production. It is produced in many variants and since 1985 produced in about 150 helicopters. Used, among others in countries such as Poland, the Czech Republic, Myanmar, Spain, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Vietnam, the Philippines and Russia. And as you mentioned - 2 helicopters in the Saxony police. Transport and passenger versions as well as rescue versions (including naval version - W-3RM Anakonda) work well as medium helicopters.

Armed versions (W-3W and W-3WA - armed with a fixed GSz-23Ł gun and four booms for suspended armament also work well).

On the other hand, on forums gathering soldiers and pilots, opinions are divided as to version W-3PL Gluszec (version of combat support with 12.7 mm movable rifle on the bow post) due to significant load on the power unit with a small increase in combat capabilities and weak armor. He is praised for the possibilities of the optical head and self-defence systems.

Work on the anti-tank version is under way.
I hope I helped You a little. Sorry for my English.

Why not in the capital? Odd choice for the parade.

This is a decision of the Minister of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak. According to the information provided, the reason is the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First Silesian Uprising in this year. A detailed explanation about why the parade is not in Warsaw 2019, the Minister of National Defense posted in a Twitter post from July 11, 2019, which reads as follows:
"I decided that this year's parade on the occasion of # ŚwiętoWP will take place in Katowice, because it is a special year: the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First Silesian Uprising. This is a great opportunity to remind people ready to sacrifice their lives to make this land a part of Poland."
