We Malaysian and other SEA countries having the same problem with Chinese Coast Guard invading our waters and they try to reclaim the Spratly Islands that being claim by various SEA countries for their own interest where as China is obvious so far away from the claimed islands.. quite a hot area now around Spratly Islands near Malaysian's water where US and Chinese warship head to head to deter each one another...

Japanese Ground Self Defense Forces recently introduced their new modular service rifle called Howa Type 20 which is planned to replace the current standard service rifle Howa Type 89 for long term. According to Japanese sources JGSDF ordered 150.000 Howa Type 20 rifles alongside with the Beretta GLX-160 40mm under-barrel grenade launchers as the fist batch.

Apart from the new Type 20 assault rifle, they have also introduce the HK VP9 9mm pistol which is gonna be produced under license as the replacement of SIG P220 9mm standard service pistols which werealso produced in Japan under license.
