Meet Lt. Dr. Wesam Mulla.

Wesam is a man of many talents: he is a combat doctor in the IDF Paratroopers Brigade, has a PhD in medical research from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, has conducted high-level studies in the field of heart disease, and in his spare time is a committed skydiving aficionado. In recognition of his achievements and potential to change the world for the better, Wesam has just been named as one of Forbes Israel's Tech #30Under30 for 2020.

Unit 217, frequently called Duvdevan is a mista'arvim (counter-terrorism) unit within the Israel Defense Forces, part of the Commando Brigade.
Duvdevan are noted for undercover operations in urban areas, during which they often wear Arab civilian clothes as a disguise. They are also known to be trained in human and mechanical counter-surveillance. Unlike other special forces units, they can operate independently in more than one place at a time. The unit performs many high-risk and complicated operations, including targeted killing, kidnappings, and a range of other undercover operations in Arab areas, many of which are classified

The 2018 annual IDF combat fitness, marksmanship and hand-to-hand combat championship. That year the winners among the infantry were the Nahal brigade and among the special forces units were Shayetet 13

The Israeli Air Force announced that they are streamlining all their special forces units, among them the Shaldag commandos, Unit 669; into a new Special Forces Wing in order to allow closer operational cooperation between its special forces units.
