Turkish soldiers and police special forces now have a solid presence within the Greek territory and have camped in the pocket of Apiary at Feres, reports Greek site Army Voice.

On the same day, a Greek fishing boat reported it was being harrassed by two Turkish patrol boats off the island of Oinousses in the eastern Aegean.

According to the Shipping Ministry in Athens, the Turkish coast guard vessels performed dangerous manoeuvres inside Greek territorial waters. The video released by the Hellenic Coast Guard showed a Turkish vessel circling the fishing boat.

Turkey is mixture of races we have Kurds to Albanians ( blond Turks ) Bosniaks to Arabs, Kyrgyz Turks to Pontus Greek Turks. İ guess 68 ethnic races. Even our President is Georgian ? and defence minister is Circasian.

I thought Kurds were ''mountain Turks'' as the official position until 1991, the Turkish state was denying that Kurds exist as a nation or ethnic group.

In late 80s, there was a book published under the auspices of the university of Tybingen in Germany titled ''Ethnic groups in the republic of Turkey''. The book covered ethnic and religious minorities and had maps with details about where every minority lived. Two Turkish publishing companies published the book without permission from the author and was a best seller, because since then, most Turks search about their roots.

The interesting part is that the Turkish bootleg editions didn't include the maps where every minority lived, it was about the 1/4 of the original text and had changes to the text.

The story of the author and his legal battle in Turkey, very interesting:

Wish Greece called Turks in Western Thrace also Turks, but still they calling them Greek muslims of course, this has nothing to do with the subject and the site. When someone writes such a things they are banned directly. But Why double standards for this guy? How many times has this guy been a warned still he cause trouble and controversy under photo threads.?
@Bombardier

Greece calls them Greek Muslims because they are called like that according to the Lausanne treaty signed by Greece and Turkey, stating that after the population exchange, there are only religious minorities in Greece and Turkey, not ethnic ones. Also there other Muslims there, non Turkish speakers as the Roma and Pomaks, only the 62% are Turkish speaking.

Now, today our Muslims of the minority are around 120000, how many Greek Christians live today in Turkey? Αround 2000.

How many there were living there when the Lausanne was signed? 200000.

What happened to them?

Tough questions?

Great, moderators are removing our posts and censoring us as always to side with this s2k greek. Speak of the facts instead of crying here, and stop playing the victim card for once. Also you clearly know nothing about kurds living in Turkey nor are you aware of the turkic population in greece. As a kurd, I can say my race is not turkic at all though it has nothing to do with our daily lives in Turkey as Turkish citizens. No other place on earth has seen that much diversity, look at the history and you'll realise how many different civilizations passed through anatolia. Now we all accept eachother here, but out of nowhere, it is such a big deal for you. Get up to date or get lost, you're still living in 20th century. And writing all that bs won't change anything, it just shows how buthurt you are

Who's living in τηε 20th century? Us or you?

You have a govt comprised by two factors, the Islamist one of Erdogan and the other, the ultra nationalists of Bahceli, who as a political area was the main recruiting pool for members of the OHD, special warfare dept in the 80s, who did all the ops vs the Kurds, political assassination's, and the removal of 3000 Kurdish villages from the map.

Human Rights Watch:

''Evacuations were unlawful and violent. Security forces would surround a village using helicopters, armored vehicles, troops, and village guards, and burn stored produce, agricultural equipment, crops, orchards, forests, and livestock. They set fire to houses, often giving the inhabitants no opportunity to retrieve their possessions. During the course of such operations, security forces frequently abused and humiliated villagers, stole their property and cash, and ill-treated or tortured them before herding them onto the roads and away from their former homes. The operations were marked by scores of “disappearances” and extrajudicial executions. By the mid-1990s, more than 3,000 villages had been virtually wiped from the map, and, according to official figures, 378,335 Kurdish villagers had been displaced and left homeless.''

In Turkey, baby formula and sunflower oil are locked because people steal them, not having enough money to buy them.

I remember the poisonous comments of Turkish politicians when we had our economic problems back in 2010. What goes around comes around....

No one ever laughed to Greeks & also Greek economy is never recovered until 2008. Will perhaps not recover soon or later. Because the weapons your leader's purchased due to fear that Turkey will wage war on Greece. The NATO country, Turkey, that is your ally btw will never attack your soil. Just because Turkey makes money from the defense industry, it doesn't mean that we are doing it against Greece. This is a different kind of schizophrenic paranoia. While your goverment purchased weapons for Don Quixote war, billions of Euro's spent (wasted) for something that will never happen. Those money will never return while your economy depends on 60% tourism & transportation your goverment also has no gut's to fire single bullet. I seriously feel bad for my Greek neighbors. Instead of making deal's making piss race etc..

If we had a hatred towards Greek's or a goal of taking land we could easily done during Greek famine or Greek civil war. Yet we saved thousands of Greek's & their childs from starvation.

What goes around comes around....

It is very sad and uncivilized that the grandchildren of the people we saved from famine that 75 years ago occured making fun of people who can't buy baby food in Turkey.. Btw we have childcare system each kid receive 215₺ each month, so it's unorthodox to can't buy babyfood unless you are pothead and can't effort spoon meat for your kids. In addition, there are 6 million or more refugees and their children that we look after. Despite this burden, life goes on here.

? Greek Lieutenant General Nikolaos Tamouridis: Build aircraft carriers, buy tanks, UAV's as much as you want, you can't scare us. No matter what you do, you will not be able to set foot in our homeland and bells will ring again in Polis (Istanbul) and Hagia Sophia.

BTW fun fact bell's are still ringing in Istanbul there are hunderd's of churches. We have Orthodox & Catholic even Coptic minorities..

Sad. Whatever you think of migrants, and many being Kurds that drown at sea in the channel trying to cross into England. Same kind of mess between Turkey and Greece, but I think the possible feud between your countries go beyond the only migrants issues.

Did I miss something mate....what's this about???

What I said above, I believe. At least if the source from @CemalPasha is credible that Greeks Navy/Border police pushed them back into Turkish waters…

I posted this before in a different thread and a few users laughed, but considering the current state of most of Africa or many parts of the Middle East and beyond, we can expect dozen millions (an optimistic figure) migrants to reach Europe within this century.

Orange Man promised a wall, Eric Zemmour, BoJo and others wants walls or barb wires. Good luck with that. It’ll only be worsening in decades to come and there’s nothing any leader, president or PM can do about it beside whine about it or blame it on its neighbors, be it Turkey, France, Italy, Spain etc.

Yep most of them Syrian Kurds. Also some Afghans & Paki's. Kurds got helped if they reach Austria by Kurdish diaspora since Europe turn blind eye to any other Kurdish group/organization thinking they all political refugees or angels who harassed by jihadis so they building illegal networks while no one poking his nose into them. So far 1.500k+ Kurds arrived in W. Europe since 2015. I don't want to be silly/pathetic but maybe German population counter hamlet since 6 million Turks are livin there letting more Kurds into Germany etc. Also Erdogan's dumb policy's hurting Turk's livin W.Europe as well. ( i'm btw also half turkish livin in Belgium since my grandfather was guestworker came here in 50s) . Yet Turks in W.Europe were mostly moronic ex Anatolian peasants they supported Erdogan while livin in West was like ultra sarcastic stuff. But also European Turks are changing rapidly now they are missing old Secular & Economicly better Turkey. If we get rid of Erdogan i think Turkish people will never let religious clown to rule republic & Turkey will stay Secular for centuries i hope cuz they learned good lesson. Back in 2015 i remember only Turks helped here (Belgium) refugees with blankets, i saw even ex YPG/PKK member with the coat of arms of the terror organization and then i tell everyone we are doing moronic stuff etc. Now everyone awakin a bit, Turk's in W. Europe sarcasticly supporting Ultra rightist party's to stop job(refuge) invasion.

Greek jet locks radar on Turkish F16 jet escorting American b52 bomber as part of NATO mission for no reason...

New discussion is expected

Greece rejected the Turkish version of events. The Defense Ministry said five Turkish jets appeared without prior notification to accompany a flight of U.S. B-52 bombers — which hadn’t been due to have a fighter escort — through an area subject to Greek flight control.

It said four Greek fighters were scrambled and chased off the armed Turkish planes, adding that Athens informed NATO and U.S. authorities of the incident.
