How long before they rebel?

Rebellions are not started by women, pensioners and children.
The Orcs have proven ways of dealing with different rebels, so the chance for that is more than extremely slim.
Your rationale is based on your assumption that these people are Americans, so they would not stand it.
The difference is that these people are used to hardship, unlike the Americans.
The U.S. government would not allow torture of rebels, deprive them of food and sleep, electrocute their balls, etc.

Yes, yes.... It's about the weak Americans again. So what you're saying is the "weak" Americans would stick their boot up Putin's ass over this, but these folks are just too strong and stupid for that. :p

Cutting off the Russian salient before Friday would be primo.

I’d say for now, there is too much Russian military in the area. But also anyone in that area that wanted a more western life would have moved to kiev or Odessa years ago. Plus compared to photos of Russia, it doesn’t look to bad, so they are probably ok with it…..

What happens if there is a peace, and Russian mil leave, and Ukraine gets growth? Maybe they move to their cousins house in Ukraine.

Exactly! If there is a cease fire or truce or whatever, and months from now they are still waiting in line for barely potable water, and cousin Sasha on the Ukraine side is sending you pics of his new VW while at Starbucks - that would be food for thought.

Is the Russian "offensive" starting to sputter?

I really miss uncle jo, with his incisive off the cuff responses to reporters questions.

An episode of a battle involving a Russian, presumably T-80 tank, in the Zaporizhia region near Malaya Tokmachka. The tank was used by Russian servicemen of the 70th regiment of the 42nd division of the Dnepr group. Judging by the video, the tank withstood three hits from Ukrainian FPV drones and two runs over mines, after which it continued moving. The tank is equipped with Mangal-type protection, thanks to which all drone attacks were ineffective. The tank paved the way for armored vehicles with infantry and subsequently attacked a forest belt with a temporary deployment point for the Ukrainian army.

whatever.... the time for serious consequences pre date the trump presidency. and by serious consequences, I am thinking of a time a couple years ago, when Ukraine should have had ammo parity with the russians, but the european politicans couldnt be bothered to up their artillery ammo production to keep up.
and they wonder why people flee Ukraine instead of fight, who wants to fight if you think you might not even be able to shoot back?

Better late than never. I don't want to rehash old stuff, but ammo parity was nothing compared to financing Putin's war with billions in oil revenue every month.

In occupied Crimea, the latest "cutting-edge" anti-drone defense has been revealed... and it's literally bells. Yes, actual bells, rung by teachers to “scare away” Ukrainain UAVs. This idea came from Belarusian prankster Vlad Bohan, who posed as a United Russia member and sent out fake "official" instructions citing the "wisdom" of a Russian Orthodox priest. Join Benjamin Lee for this new episode of Break The Fake to find out the result of the prank. …
