Local news reports as being done by 2 kids who were allegedly paid 5 million Roubles by "unknown persons". The pair had allegedly set fire to a radio tower recently and received 30,000 for that.

They were obviously inexperienced arsonists since both were taken to the hospital for very serious burns. Presently, they are guarded by police and will be taken to jail when sufficiently healed.

It never ceases to amaze me how most people will stand over their accelerant as they light it 🫣
Especially gasoline. The fumes are heavier than air and quickly spread. When lighting a bonfire or tree limbs, a half pint will do the job just fine. More than that, and you're in for a rude surprise!

We had a bounty on setting fire to outboard sampan motors, you put one alight and the crew had to buy you a case of beer. One of my pilots who is still living had this thing about those little Massey Ferguson Tractors that were handed out to who knows who. He loved busting those up with the minis.

So...the Russians are taking the Kursk salient seriously now?

Rhienmetall with a tank factory so close to Russia seems an odd idea as the Russians would like to destroy it, but then they are the lowest Labour cost aswell as efficient aswell as going to need to buy the product.
