According to the information provided by Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. preparations are underway for the start of serial production of 30 mm Remote Controlled Turret Systems. In the next few years, this solution will be equipped with the Rosomak wheeled IFV and the new Borsuk floating tracked IFV.
The introduction of the ZSSW-30 to the equipment of the Land Forces is one of the most urgent needs. HSW emphasizes that the new turret systems, based on the innovative, domestic fire control system operating with the hunter-killer function, mean a leap increase in the ability to effectively destroy enemy mechanized units. The system was developed by a consortium of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. and WB Electronics. The invitation to negotiate the deliveries of the first batch of ZSSW-30 was sent in December last year, after the qualification tests were formally completed in October.
