An F9F-2B Panther assigned to Fighter Squadron (VF) 837 pictured just after taking the cut to recover on board the carrier Antietam (CVA 36). A Naval Air Reserve squadron based at Naval Air Station (NAS) Floyd Bennett Field, New York, VF-837 was recalled to active service during the Korean War, flying missions from Antietam during the period September 1951-May 1952.

Most of the news agencies promoted it like that but no. Here is the real Ayla, waiting on a lunch line with the Turkish Soldiers. (Taken from the personal archives of Iclal-Tunca Örses)

thanks for the info! A Korean friend told me about the film, I'll wait for it to be seen on YouTube, since I do not think Colombia will come as an art cinema
