Some photos of the first Turkish Army troops arrived to newly established Turkish Mlitary base in Qatar. Currently Turkish military sent 18 unit sof ACV -300 IFV / APCs and 135 soldiers to Qatar. Notice the desert camo uniform that used by these troops different than the standard issue model

Yes, we are used Thompson's in 1974 in both Special Forces and Regular Units.

Photos from the newly established temporary mobile border control station on Ikiyaka mountains (twoside) in Hakkari Province. The area in the middle of the junction point of Turkish, Iraqi and Iranıan border lines. The main mission of the border troops that mainly formed with army commandos, gendarmerie and proffesional regular infantry is to spot and engage the illegal border activities mostly done by smugglers and terrorists that using the border line to cross the Turkey. Also destroy their stash caves during their regular patrol duty . In my personnal opinion, these mountans are the world's one of the most beautiful looking and dangerous areas at the same time....

And another newly established foreign Turkish military base in Somalia. The main goal of the Turkish troops that start serving here to train, equip and organize the Somalian security forces for their fight against terrorism and instability in their country...

Notice the main building of the base that strongly inspired by the early-republic era Turkish architecture which was used as a national style for the governmental buildings between 1920s to 1950s. Also they have already sent alot of BMC Kiirpi MRAPs and Otokar Cobra APCs mostly attached with mobile jammers that strongly influenced me that they want to avoid of any kind of unpleasant IED attacks
