Personnel (officer) from the Turkish Special Forces Command on a protection mission in Afghanistan in 2001. The patch on the shoulder belongs to the MAK (Combat Search and Rescue) unit. Before being disbanded, this unit was recognized as the most elite unit in Turkey by the media and the public.
