When I say "community of nations", I don't mean we all sit together and sing Kumbaya. I mean free trade, money, the ability to sell oil freely and at market rates. And yes, Russian elite care very much about that. Perhaps, that's all they care about.

They certainly did try to establish BRICS and some still are. But that's a club for losers, formed when the people controlling Biden were too stupid to understand how monetary policy works. Plus, serious people trade in USDs, not funny money Rupees, Rubles,Yuan, Rial or BRL.

Putin does want to be seen as Trump's equal. I think that actually works in Trump's favor.

I am German and I agree, we should Ukraine the German G-MARS instead of HIMARS. It has twice the firepower and is a new system, so imo testing it in Ukraine would be a win for us aswell.
