Orchestrated attack by China and Russia in the planning.

China will try to keep Europe busy with an attack on the EU. It tries to persuade Russia to do that.

So they can invade Taiwan and don't need to fear European reinforcements.

Any news about it in Germany?

It's not about the publicity but clearly Ukraine not receiving as much as under biden and receiving material in trickles of what they get.
You disagree?
I think we are talking about two separate issues. I'm simply stating there is no reason to publicly state what Ukraine will get, when and how many. Keep Russia guessing. Nor should there be public statements on which weapons come with any restriction or if restriction are lifted.

Regarding Biden and his administration, it was amateur hour. They could eff up a 2 car parade. I personally believe the botched Afghan withdrawal was the last nail in the coffin which made Putin feel it was "go time". Not that Europe was any better, sending Putin billions of dollars per month to finance his war, while talking tough.

Putin is a strongman, he saw nothing but weakness and incompetence in his way.

Putin if he is a good puppet will send missiles that use up the Patriots.

Lately its shifted to affordable drones. His flex into Armenia for what, to prevent the Kazackhs taking the rest or it or trying to regain influence on the belt road.

As that FSB report concluded they know they are China's economic dependency, nothing a parade and vodka can't fix.

I really dont see China relying on Russia, and USA and European trade with China would hit zero, literally turn the ships around, we can manage for 6 months without plastic patio furniture.

Russia v NATO would be over in 3 days, and mostly done by Poland, with air support from UK and france, Germany would arrive in the air on day 3. Then you have a pissed off NATO sending 3 big carriers, plus whatever 6 small carriers, plus 30 frigates out to Taiwan, to meet the 3 chinese carriers, whilst escorting every merchant ship loaded with chinese stuff, back to China.

Obviously any help in the Indo-Pacific would be welcomed, but the current US thinking is, if Europe/NATO can handle things locally, the US is free to handle China with it's Pacific partners.

China has no squabbles with Europe, and Russia to keep the EU at bay is pointless as the battle in Asia will be Naval warfare, and I dont think any Navy in EU is worried about Russian fleets. When China says it cant afford to Russia to lose, its akin to a Drug dealer who cant let his junkies die, they are a source of income. Why have taiwan when you can have a continent as a slave to your whims. (not EU but Russia's size being close to a continent)

Just seen trump saying will send MOSTLY defensive weapons. If I was Putin I would be very worried, as to what non-defensive weapons are being sent. Trump has tried/begged Putin to pack it up, and been rejected, I suspect Donald does not take rejection well.

Trump is virtually silent on this issue, again my read is, that for Putin, this is not a good situation, we are waiting for 'stuff' to be delivered, and used, before Trump calls Putin again.

Abraham accord, Iran can affirmatively kicked down the road, DRC Rwanda, Nile, Syria and some other SE Asian kerfufle. How many more does a nobel prize take?

So, no sense letting Putin know details about when/where/if/how many.

Also, I think we've reached a level of sophistication where Patriots would be reserved for high end threats if possible and not $50,000 drones.

I don't think we will know what might be sent. Which is playing it smart.

They are not using patriots on the lawnmover drones russia is mostly sending over, the other night they talked about 500 drones, and 9 missiles. Hopefully this tells us Russia is struggling to make missiles.

That said, I was suprised to see them using a .50 HMG against the drones, surely by now we could have delivered camera/radar controlled .50 by the thousands, the saving in ammo alone would be worth it?

So Israel/Gaza is sorted, big bill is done. Back to Russia. He's not happy with Putin. Given what he did in Iran, we are officially in uncharted waters.

Still iffy on sanctions and why is EU is not using that 350 billion of frozen Russian investments "assets". The financiers come first.
...Discussed during a informal dinner in Luxemburg.

Trump can be moody, occasionally unpredictable and sometimes unhinged but he sure as hell doesn’t like being played. Probably not by Putin either.

It does not appear to be just another high ball in a negotiation. The Ratcliffe and Graham have been proven right by Putin.

Trump has confirmed that more weapons are on their way to Ukraine, a serious blow to Putin's war plans. But while real weapons arrive, fake images are also flooding social media. On this episode of Break The Fake, Jonasz Rewiński reveals how Russia is using AI-generated images to manipulate emotions, spread fake stories, and distort Ukraine's reality. From fake POWs to AI-crafted "hero" photos, the goal is clear: confuse, divide and demoralize. Join us to find out how these campaigns operate, how they're fooling Facebook's algorithm and how YOU can spot and stop the spread of fake information.
