I just upgraded mine to British Telecom Ultrafast, I get 120mbps via WIFI and 160 hard wired. Not cheap though

As we are in the middle of nowhere its usable - luckily BT's cabinet is just over the road

We are behind Europe/US in many aspects, but we do have high speed, cheap internet connections.
That connection is about 8.5 Euros/month. I have a 300 Mbps one for about 6 Euros/month.

Wow. That is cheap. I'm paying $65 a month, everything included (plus phone service) to get similar speeds.
