Warfare HAMAS attack on Israel, Oct 2023 & Iran’s Proxies.

It’s really sad what is happening in that part of the world. I am not taking sides in this as atrocities have occurred on both sides for decades. Hopefully they find a resolution soon so normal people can get back to their lives. Apart from this, these attacks have Iran and potentially Russian involvement (intelligence).

Or it could be a sinister casus belli planned by Mossad to end Hamas.

I think this is it definitely. Mossad should already spotted dozens of Type 63 multiple kinda rocket launcher.

Since friday evening we are having our grandchildren over and I am only now getting around to looking at the forum and am totally shocked by the events in Israel. My sympathy to all the victims and their families. Pure terrorism! May the Israelis kick the ass of the Hamas assholes.

It is very amateurish that Israel only has land forces soldiers on such high risk contact 0 line. Turkey for ex has 50 to 70k village guards to prevent such invasion. Even in mountainous and rugged terrains. Giving local people light and simple weapons that even a child can use like Vz 58's etc to protect area until police, gendermarie or army arrives.

I think it’s a matter of control, fearing that militia type units can't be trusted enough, especially as there have been previous instances of settlers attacking locals, orthodox Jews attacking people in Jerusalem etc.

Involving other nations this would be a sidenote on page six, with Israel involved every news show opens with it to cover the international backlash.

Well thats 100% Irans job they did same to PKK. Iran trained PKK rats as well with this Paramotors.

This is how Bayraktar TB2 hunts Paramotor using PKK rats

I'm optimistic of those news cuz Turkey and Israel Mossad & MIT ( Turkish int) will work together after those incidents.

Maybe they spot these all the time but can't act until they fire first? Preemptively taking them out would see Israel being blamed.

The same in this situation. How long before political opinions shift to appease the islamic voters? I give it one-two weeks max before Israel is forced to call it quits due to pressure from Washington and Brussels.

The EU is likely already preparing the aid packages to have the bunkers, tunnels and firing positions rebuilt.

Just watched Barrack invasion of Hamas. At least 20 Israeli soldiers died in the video & at least 10 soldiers were executed in the dormitory section without changing their clothes..

Iran's geography is like a castle and its a huge country we are not in 80s Iran has proxies all over Middle east syria to iraq that would be impossible without US & Turkey. This kind of attack would require at least half a dozen tankers and AWACS.

Israel could even use ICBMs with a traditional payload. 3+ metric tons of explosives (or even concrete) slamming into a target at mach 20 is no laughing matter.

Don't need to hit everything, only their nuclear facilities and a select few armaments plants.

Captive Israeli female soldiers :(

Treat every building in Gaza to 155mm, even "hospitals" and "schools".
Follow up by a full spectrum ground assault aimed at expelling the entire population into Egypt.

cool. I wouldn't dare calling Russians orcs after this carefully crafted statement anymore ... sometimes I am glad MI.net is NOT in charge of politics.

Sure, Hamas had it coming, but advocating ethnic cleansing just sucks, sorry.

For info there are about 2.1m people in Gaza. Could Israel clear Gaza? I don’t know, but it must be one of many options. Presumably Israel just ‘pushes’ them all into Egypt?not a task for the feint hearted, but if you were bibi what options do you have, that would improve Israeli security?
Re-occupy Gaza - getting rid of Hamas and all that, demilitarise Hamas, handing the civilians a lifeline to improve their conditions of live (not difficult from what they're coming from). Make it some Israeli controlled territory with certain rights for the Palnestinians (language, schools). It's not gonna be perfect, but you'd avoid large scale attacks like this, which need a state-like apparatus to work.

People, if we’re going to share graphic contents here, please at least use a warning before you post it.

Mi.net certainly doesn’t allow gore but such is war and some things can be seen, as horrendous as they are but make sure to not outright direct us to civilians laying in their blood without a GRAPHIC note.

Thanks.

Almost no doubt in my mind it's about upcoming Saudi-Israel peace deal.
The timing, the intensity, the MO - this is a qualitatively different thing from everything we've seen so far.
They basically are trying to replicate 2006 Second Lebanon War - hostages mean necessity of ground invasion on the scale not seen even during the Cast Lead operation.
The ground invasion on this scale means protracted conflict with several thousands Palestinian casualties. This will put tremendous pressure on Saudis to withdraw from the peace process (not to mention US sponsoring it).
Ayatollas just went all in - almost. There is only one major ace left, the Hizbollah. One of the local ministers already warned, that the whole thing might be a diversion before Hezzies join in. Then it's really going to be interesting...

From a mere tactical POV it doesn't make sens for Hezbollah to joing in NOW. It's like everyone is preparing for this very scenario right now. If Hezbollah should have any effect, they would have needed to join the initial operation. Hezbollah entering now would be a Turkey shooting for IDF and the occasional 3-4 rockets evading Iron dome might be a nuisance, but nothing compared to hundreds or thousands of dead Hezzies. I can't see Iran or the Hezbollah playing the North front card this time.
