These are photos from November 2011 from the "Tiger Claw 1" exercise. Given the nature of the exercise on the Polish side, the unit "Grom" probably took part in it.

+Also there was a Polish Legion in Turkey (Polish: Legion Polski w Turcji) a military force formed in Istanbul by emigrants from Partitioned Poland to fight for the Ottoman Army. In the beginning of the nineteenth century the unit consisted of around 20,000 troops. There is still Polish Towns in Turkey such as Adampol.

At a time when Polish lands were taken by three neighboring powers, it was the Ottoman Empire that was the only state that officially never acknowledged the disappearance of Poland from the world map.
