Are there soldiers from the 12th Mechanized Brigade on three of the last four photos?

The Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) revealed that its company PIT-Radwar provided the Polish Army with the first - of the planned for this year - Self-propelled Anti-aircraft Missile Set (SPZR) Poprad. A total of 24 Poprad systems are planned to be handed over this year.

In 2020, the Polish Army will receive 24 Poprad anti-aircraft missile systems. By 2019, 36 systems were expected to hit the army, which means that by the end of this year, there should be 60 of 79 ordered.
Description
SPZR Poprad is a very short range anti-aircraft defense system (VSHORAD). Like the Soła short range radar station, it is placed on the Polish Żubr-R chassis. Together they are intended to cover important objects, equipment and people groups in the lowest layer of the air and missile defense system. It is used to detect, recognize and destroy air targets at close distances (up to 5500 m) and low altitudes (up to 3500 m).

The system is armed with 4 very short range anti-aircraft missiles Grom (in the long run Piorun). The systems are equipped with, among others in the tracking and aiming head, an automatic target tracking system based on a video camera and an alien identification system. The system has the ability to operate autonomously or as part of an integrated air defense system.

In March 2020, the Grot S10 FB-M1 semi-automatic carbine came to the offer of the main distributor of the Weapon Factory Łucznik-Radom. It is a sport version of this weapon with a shortened barrel of 10.5 inches (267 mm).

grots10_01.jpg
grots10_03.jpg

Grot S10 and Grot S16 are models adapted to the civil law regulations in Poland and the European Union. They are equipped with trigger and shock mechanisms that allow firing only with single fire. These models are variants of the 5.56 mm (MSBS-5.56) caliber modular small arms weapon system carbine with the classic stock (MSBS-5.56K). The MSBS-5.56B bull-pup variant is expected to be available next year.

Unlike the military prototype, they have barrels without a hook to mount a bayonet knife. In accordance with legal requirements, the construction of the castle chamber and mobile assembly prevents the use of a slider from a self-loading semi-automatic rifle in sports weapons.

Grot S10 FB-M1 is a semi-automatic weapon adapted to 5.56 mm x 45 / .223 Remington ammunition. The rifle is equipped with a 10.5-inch barrel with six furrows with a stroke of 9 inches / 228 mm. After disassembly, any outlet device adapted to this thread diameter can be screwed on.

Sub-carbines for Polish Armed Forces and Border Guard

grot-01.jpg

Short barrel versions are called sub-carabines in the military technical language. For now, the armament of the Polish Army has not found the models developed in the program of the advanced individual combat system Titan, which, according to the requirements, are to be completed with even shorter 10-inch (254 mm) barrels. After completing the required tests of weapons, sub-rifles with such a barrel length called Grot C10 should start reaching the Polish Armed Forces from this year.

grot2.jpg

Before models with 10.5-inch barrels hit the civilian market, earlier in December 2019 such a weapon in a variant for single and continuous fire, was ordered by the Border Guard. Border guards bought 228 Grot carbines, of which 93 were in the C16 version with 16-inch barrels. The remaining 135 carbines were delivered with two sets of barrels for the user's choice: 16-inch and 10.5-inch.
