Coordinated rescue ops conducted by the Indian Navy on the Western Seaboard. Indian Fishing Vessel FV Bewina with a crew of 11 provided urgent food, fuel & medical assistance. Dornier ex-IN WNC on coastal surveillance relayed distress call from the IFV, INS Sunayna, Mission Deployed in the Arabian Sea diverted immediately by IN HQ SNC & provided fuel, fresh water, food & medical care.

Indian Coast Guard Ship Samarth and Abhinav enter Galle harbour today on a goodwill visit to Sri Lanka. Visit of ICG ships will facilitate professional exchanges & joint exercise with the Sri Lanka Coast Guard i.a.w ICG-SLCG MoU.
On 01 Mar 24, Indian Coast Guard Ships Samarth and Abhinav departed Galle harbour on completion of the first leg of the Overseas Deployment to Sri Lanka. The ships will be entering Colombo harbour on 02 Mar 24.
Indian Coast Guard Ships Samarth and Abhinav have entered Colombo harbour today, as part of the final leg of the overseas deployment to Sri Lanka. The ships will remain in Colombo till 05 Mar 24.

Exercise MILAN 2024 concluded, 27 Feb 24 with Closing Ceremony of Sea Phase (24-27 Feb) onboard Indigenous Aircraft Carrier
IN R11 Vikrant off Visakhapatnam. All participating units COs attended the ceremony & were in complete agreement that training aims of MILAN 2024 were achieved.
