PSLV-C46
PSLV-C46 which is the 48th mission of PSLV, will launch RISAT-2B, a Radar imaging earth observation satellite, from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota. The launch is tentatively scheduled at 0527 hrs IST on May 22, 2019, subject to weather conditions.

ISRO’s SSLV will cost just 15 Crs (about 2million USD), first launch in October.
Indian Space Research Organisation has delayed the test-flight and the first flight is likely to take place in October said the latest media report. Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) first flight was scheduled for by end of July but that now has been postponed due to Chandrayaan-2 Mission and not due to any technical reasons said Industrial sources close to idrw.org. Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) is a vehicle-on-demand rocket and can carry payloads up to 500kg to the lower orbit which can be assembled in 2-3 days as permission requirement. SSLV is also cheapest Rocket developed by ISRO and will be costing just over 15 Crores per rocket which is way cheaper then what core alone variant of PSLV costs at around 150 crores.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has demonstrated for the first time a prototype of a promising reusable "space shuttle" of its own design.

ISRO successfully demonstrated the new technology with Inflatable Aerodynamic Decelerator (IAD). IAD was test-flown today in a Rohini-sounding rocket from TERLS, Thumba.
Flown in stowed condition, IAD inflated at ~84 km altitude & descended through the atmosphere. IAD enables various space applications like recovery of spent stages of rockets, landing payloads on Mars/Venus, and making space habitats for humans.

ISRO achieved an important milestone in the Gaganyaan project by successfully test-firing the Low Altitude Escape Motor of Crew Escape System (CES), from Sriharikota.

CES takes away the Crew module in case of eventuality & rescues the astronauts isro.gov.in/update/10-aug-…

ISRO successfully completed the static test of a human-rated solid rocket booster (HS200) for the Gaganyaan Programme at Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh on May 13, 2022, at 7:20 AM local time. isro.gov.in/update/13-may-…
(2/2) HS200 rocket booster is the human-rated version of the well-proven S200 rocket booster of GSLV Mk III satellite launch vehicle. This full-duration test of the first stage of the launch vehicle marks a major milestone for the Gaganyaan.

ISRO successfully carried out the ground testing of the newly developed solid booster stage (SS1) for its new launch vehicle Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, at 1205 hrs.
Today’s successful testing has given sufficient confidence to proceed with the first developmental flight of SSLV (SSLV-D1). The remaining stages of SSLV (SS2 & SS3) have successfully undergone necessary ground tests and are ready for integration.

ISRO to launch 36 satellites of OneWeb onboard LVM3, nominally during the second half of Oct 2022. With this “LVM3 M2/ OneWeb India-1 Mission”, the 1st LVM3 dedicated commercial launch on demand through NSIL, LVM3 enters the Global commercial launch service market.

LVM3 - M2/OneWeb India-1 Mission: Launch scheduled at 0007 hrs. IST on October 23, 2022. Cryo stage, equipment bay (EB) assembly completed. Satellites are encapsulated and assembled in the vehicle. Final vehicle checks are in progress.
