In February 2024, the ceremonial raising of the national flag took placein the newly formed 21st Light Mountain Battalion of the 21st Podhale Rifles Brigade.
The purpose of the battalion will be to conduct combat operations as part of a combined operation, with particular emphasis on specific combat environments - extremely cold.

The Poles look sexy in these photos. My question is will they be able to project power in Europe after they are finished modernizing their forces?

I don't know where this question leads, but I will answer as best as I can. Poland does not intend to conduct offensive operations independently outside the country's borders; for defensive operations after the completion of modernization (if there is such a thing as the end of army modernization), it is to have sufficient means to transfer troops within the country.

Is that what you had in mind? If not, try to clarify the question.

The inscription on the fender means in English: "Either I find a way or I make one."
