IAF assistance for the rescue operations at Uttarkashi continues unabated. Employing a C-17 and two C-130 J aircraft, the IAF airlifted another 36 tonnes of critical equipment today. IAF HADR Ops will continue until all the equipment is delivered.

Centre for United Nations Peacekeeping (CUNPK), India conducted Training of Trainers on UN Pre-Deployment, for military officers from 16 countries. The training, themed on the UN framework and designed as an empowering and collaborative training programme, was organized in collaboration with the UNP Division, MEA.

Yes, when it comes to Police every state has one state police force & various child agencies under it which includes SWAT, Intelligence, Anti Riot, All Women Units or Jungle Warfare Units depending on the threat present there. These two threads will give you a slight idea.

Indian Coast Guard Ship Sajag entered Port Sultan Qaboos, Muscat Oman on 29 Nov for 03 days goodwill visit. The ship is on an overseas deployment to West Asia to strengthen Long-standing diplomatic ties and enhance maritime cooperation with the Royal Oman Police Coast Guard.
