I was very enthusiastic about the recent announcement of the possibility of introducing ASM & AA missiles, but apparently revisions to the original design may have added weight that would limit the advantage of modular weapons fitting.
That would be a shame, if true, but we will have to await the results of the study that was commisioned to investigate the situation.

I guess there were such concerns from the very beginning of the modernization program, because in addition to variants 1 to 3, the following was also provided: "Variant 4 - a version with any configuration of equipment from variants 1 to 3, ensuring the most favorable stability and strength parameters."

August 9, 2022. The 18th Mechanized Division informed in social media that the course for drivers of multi-purpose armored personnel carriers Cougar 4 × 4 class MRAP has ended in the 52nd Repair Battalion.
The first vehicles will soon be available for the 18th Command Battalion, 18th "Żelazna" Mechanized Division.
