Smooth ground operations enable flight operations in Finnish Air Forces. For the smooth and safe operation of ground operations, Senior Sergeant Ria Luoto and Corporal Isabella Piikkilä, who are responsible for aviation fuel supply at Satakunta Air Wing, are responsible for their part.

Luoto, who acts as a ground vehicle officer, and Piikkilä, who serves as a special vehicle driver, are responsible for, among other things, refueling aircraft, maintaining ground equipment and training conscripts. Luoto also serves as the Deputy Director of the Support Division and the main trainer for conscripts.

Talvinorva21 -exercise continues today in Rovaniemi, so Norvatie -road has been kept in flight condition. Yesterday Wednesday 24.2. three take-offs were flown from the runway despite heavy afternoon snowfall.

I respect the Finns a lot, in some defense matters Poland and Finland were in a similar situation (e.g. a mix of Soviet and Western weapons) - but the Finns are probably better than the Poles to organize themselves.
