These are CRPF COBRA Commandos. See the shoulder tab C.R.P. in 2nd picture. COBRAs use X95 & IAF Garuds use C-TAR 21.

Remembering 1971

In the months preceding the 1971 war, the An-12, Packet & Dakota aircraft of IAF flew 2386 hrs, lifted some 3700 passengers & 1034 tonnes of load as transport support missions for Indian Army's buildup in the east.

I have two from that, C-119 and C-47, An-12 in 72 scales will cost a bomb but in the future may get myself a one.

Here's 'RARE' snap of INDIAN ARMY mechanized formation, snap capture a small section of a larger formation belong to a 'STRIKE CORPS' simulating 'COLD START' doctrine.
