Politics All Things Trump

Obama currently has 30 million pages of documents. No one is rifling through his wife's underwear drawer while wearing body armor and carrying assault rifles. I'll let you in on a little secret. POTUS has the highest security clearance from the time they take the oath until the time they are put in their casket.
Hillary: 2,000+ Classified docs on a private server, intentionally destroyed devices.
Hunter: Incriminating evidence on a missing laptop, communications with President.

Anything top secret? Classified? Not available as a copy in the White House or the archives?

Trump´s team did´nt seem to care so I suppose it´s all unimportant, under the watch of the NA, and readily available to new administrations.

Not the case here it seems.

But hey, top secret documents of the USA becoming the private property of a real estate tycoon...if it´s all fine with you then great...though not sure the bulk of the American people are ready to let a real estate tycoon eventually use the property of the USA for his personal interests.

And for Hillary, everyone wanted to "lock her up". I guess people will keep that same logic...

Where do you get that?

A President can declassify anything without explanation. He has the highest clearance there is.

Also, they were working and cooperating with DoJ regarding any documents which they might want turned over, ( a first actually for a former POTUS). It is completely unprecedented that:

1) The Regime would send armed Gestapo agents to the private residence of a former POTUS.
2) You would send armed Gestapo agents to the residence of a former POTUS which was FULLY cooperating with Regime stooges.

The 4th Reich is panicked. Nothing they do would surprise me now. Only the most stupid and indoctrinated Americans are buying into this now.

Also, you really need to widen the sources which you get your facts from, or you won't be equipped to have this discussion.

As an outsider, why are you guys arguing about this on a forum where nobody is going to argue with you?
This. But in all honesty, why argue American politics anywhere else, i.e. at all? It seems pointless to me. The Democrats will never admit to the dodgy things they've done. The Republicans will never admit to the dodgy things they've done. Political discourse now is angry memes interrupted by tweets citing other tweets which purport to prove how dodgy the other team is.

Quite frankly, it'd probably be for the best if Biden, Trump, Pelosi and the entire league of crusty old berks quickly died a natural death.

Wait, what am I saying. The moment one of them dies, their side will accuse the other side of having poisoned them or something.

Well Muck, obviously I care about US politics very much. And perhaps the rest of the world should also take an interest. If the flame of Liberty is extinguished in the US, the rest of the world will follow quickly - and there will be no turning back.

Look no further than the war and turmoil in Europe to determine if US politics matter. Does anyone believe that Putin would have invaded Ukraine if he didn't see weak leadership in the US? Would Europe be worried about heating their homes this winter at Putin's whim, if US energy production wasn't purposely destroyed? What about the CCP and aggressive moves in Taiwan?

So, some of us care about US politics. Perhaps all of us should. Because it affects everyone.

Then let me compliment your endurance.

Well, in all fairness – Igor Korotchenko, the Russian state broadcaster's propagandist we all know and love – recently called Donald Trump a "friend" of Russia's. And Hungary's prime minister Viktor Orban went so far as to say in his infamous Romanian speech that if Trump and Angela Merkel had still been in power, the war in Ukraine would've never happened. Merkel's policy was one of appeasement; Putin fanboy Orban certainly didn't mean to suggest Trump's policy would've been different, otherwise it'd be illogical to name him and Merkel in the same breath.

Yeah, a lot of people think Putin was determined to invade Ukraine regardless of who occupied the White House.

Biden is a weakling, but his toolbox for dealing with a situation such as this is the same as Trump's – since that toolbox comes with being the US president, not with being either man. The only other option would be threatening war on Russia. Seeing how back in 2015 Trump called Hillary clinton a war-mongerer and predicted she'd drag the US into an unnecessary war with Russia if elected, I struggle to believe he'd have gone so far.

Which is probably for the better, let's be honest.

As a matter of fact, any explicit American security guarantees for Ukraine (or the deployment of US troops to that country), would've accelerated the invasion by seemingly justifying Russia's propaganda about the West's preparing to use Ukraine as a stepping stone for an anti-Russian war.

We can speculate. I certainly see Biden's disastrous and incompetent pull out of Afghanistan as something Putin made note of. I also see the purposeful destruction of the American energy sector, which profited Putin to the tune of $1 billion per day as more inspiration. The US toolbox would have had better and more tools under Trump. And I also believe Putin would have never risked such an adventure if his calculus included what Trump might do.
