The PC crowd does the same thing here in the USA and up north in Canuckistan. I personally like to irritate them by saying "earlier" rather than "first".

Nowra woman's pet python swallows metre-long snake hook left in tank
Lilith is reportedly thriving and moving around happily after the hook was removed.
After the hook was removed from Lilith, she stayed at the North Nowra Veterinary Hospital overnight. The python went home the next day and is reportedly "thriving" and moving around happily.
I reckon $2K for the trouble but pythons good guarding grapes, catching rodents including flying variety.

House swept down river as couple prepare for wedding
Video shows home being swept down NSW river as more than 400mm of rain fell in 24 hours...
I was lucky, lost only car and shed with small machinery. This is 100 year flood and 100 years ago we lost 18 people, this far for now no lives lost but it is still raining.

They don't insure for flood here, old definition says it is "act of god".
