Hands over around 10k rifles to untrained and unsupervised civilian population.

Calls for making molotov cocktails, by untrained and supervised civilians.

Now things are going so well Ukraine is willing to release prisoners with combat experience?

What could possibly go wrong.

Call me a pessimist, but right now this could be very counter-productive.
Russian senator claims that the expulsion of Russia from swift is actually a good thing, because this will stimulate the Ruble as international currency o_O

Jesus Christ, how low can they stoop?

Agreed. I realise they're desparate, but the military utility of this policy will be minute as opposed to the propagandistic consequences.

"V" = Belarus according to people that have posted pictures of vehicles with "V" on them.

I would take the word of Ukrainian civilians on the ground over someone who appears to be into cosplay.
And her color picture depicts an Israeli APC last time I checked Israel was not in NATO lol!

You know, we had a 1956. Untrained masses, civilians with guns, Molotov cocktails against the Soviet army.
We consider them heroes.

You seem to say that claims by the media or others here is propaganda and you claim that situation on the ground is the opposite. So care to show proof? You showed a CNN map, after you said western media is propaganda, so go on show actual evidence on whats happening on the ground that points otherwise?
I Seem to claim..... ? Nope.
My comment was made strictly to the context of Marat's comment above, and last I checked, UA isn't quite in Moscow yet.

Is CNN void of any political bias ? Nope.
Does that mean anything from CNN is worthless ? Nope.
-do- all other big name channels, and I was merely expressing my surprise at the effort needed to wade through all the clutter.

By the way, has anyone posted that the guys from Snake Island are alive? Because they are.

Putin has made an historic blunder, and at this point, there is no path where he comes out of this stronger than before the invasion. As the U.S. learned, the threat of force is an incredible weapon...until you use it. Putin was at the height of his power until the first Russian crossed the border and then it was all downhill.

There is no upside for him from this point on. His best option is damage control, but I am afraid he is no longer a rational actor, and therefore damage control will not be pursued, and I do not believe that his thinly veiled nuclear threat was a bluff. It remains to be seen how far down the dark path his lackeys and generals will follow him.
