While September brings new life to students, it also reminds soon to be discharged from the army soldiers it's time to wave goodbye to their army days. Here are eight females from Jiangmen Customs of Guangdong Provincial Frontier Defense Corps who are going to be discharged from the army after completing their two years' military service. During the past two years, those real-life Mulan presented a series of outstanding performances with zero mistake. After retirement, some of them will go back to their hometowns, others will choose to study further in military academies. A group of before-and-after comparisons shows their transformation to brave soldiers during their time in military.

Most persons serving with all branches of the PLA serve only two years. Contrary to popular belief there are zero conscripts serving with the PLA. In my opinion two years term of service is too short especially for those serving in more technical jobs. EVERY fall there is a turnover of over 1,000,000 PLA soldiers. How they keep all these folks trained up is beyond me. Oh..everyone in every branch of the PLA is called a soldier...popeye...
