Ok ladies and gentlemen I'm gonna start a vehicle ID question for everyone. Please be detailed in your answer. I would like to see more then the name of the vehicle. I would like to see some information on the vehicle itself. Well, here it is. The first person that answers this question will be awarded 25 milcreds.

What is it?

This is Little Willie, Little Willie has a Daimler engine, had track frames 12 feet long, weighed 14 tons and could carry a crew of three, at speeds of just over three miles. The speed dropped to less than 2 mph over rough ground and most importantly of all, was unable to cross broad trenches. This was only prototype and ordered by Royal Navy.

I think tahat one Little Willie is preserved in Bovington.

You are absolutely correct Polar. Excellent job. I guess that one was a little too easy...you got rather quick. Bombardier sir please award the 25 milcreds to polar. More to come later folks.

Paid in full, well done polar

My father, brother and nephews head to Bovington this week. One of my request photos is Little Willie. With luck, Pa should send me a pic next week for posting. Watch this space - there should be a couple of other interesting ones.

Look forward to seeing them matey :D
