Brother I can not give you a direct answer to your questions as it depends on many variables. First, I take it that you have filed a claim, thereby the C&P Exam? If not you need to file one. If you have filed one, the amount you get, how long it will take to get it will all depend on what state you are in, what Vision you are in under the VA, and what Regional Office you applied to.

Although the VA operates under Federal Law, the way those laws are applied differ in that they are applied based on the intrepretation of the Regional Office Adjudicatiors in each Regional Office. Some states, and Regional Offices have fewer cases so they get out replies faster than do states with backlogs of claims. It is save to say that it will probably take anywhere from 3 monts to a year or more, again depending on these conditions listed above.

As for what you might get, all I can say to that without knowing the entire claim, is that with a GAF of 58 you are probably looking at around 30% if the GAF is for PTSD only, which I would guess that it is. If you care to email me with more specifics I can probably give you more insight than I can with the information you have supplied in this post. I will be happy to answer your questions if you should chose to email them to me.

Sorry I can not be more specific here on this post but I need a bit more info.
