That OD guy looked like that photo I saw a few years ago. It was a Chinese soldier sitting in a chair holding up a target on a firing range. In early 66 at Ford Ord our rifle range was a very nice range that had foliage and small trees between each lane and it was quite wide. While the platoon was laying there a deer ran all the way from left to right on the range in front of every guy laying there and not a one hit that deer. True story.

I like to look on the positive side:
Russia could be more brittle than we know, just banned export of petrol, lost awacs coverage, lossing 'new' fighter jets every day - so they are losing the air war, they already lost the naval war. Several countries are sending small landing boats, Ukr air defence is strong. Ukr has a lot of tanks, IFV, apc etc.

The protests although small, show some resistance is there, if this started and your kid was 15, well now it looks like he will be conscripted, so it might add to the pressure, and 300K bereaved families, well Putin has to stay lucky a lot, if you know what I mean.

I'm hoping for a spring offensive, kerch bridge down(its up because Ukr want it up for now) how successful this will be, who knows.

They allow russian drones to fly over their military installations, so why worry about OPSEC
