The US government has confirmed the transfer of 6 AH-1Z helicopters and 2 UH-1Y helicopters to the Czech Army under the Excess Defense Articles program. Czechia will only pay for the modernization and transfer of machines. So Czech Army will get 10 AH-1Z and 10 UH-1Y in total. The Czech government plans to purchase more Bell helicopters.
