Yeah, I get that. I went diving there for a week on AT, and it was fine for that length of time, wouldn't want to be there any longer.

I would be a great manager. I would make the migrants, who were mostly raised in hot/warm countries, wear a Scottish kilt and I would build a camp for them in the Highlands. After exposing their cojones to cold temperatures, they would go back to their countries after a few days.

I reckon they let in anyone « skilled » or highly educated or both. Whereas the Euro fools we are (The lefties, the « good-hearted » and lawyers) would let anyone in, and we have seen the results since 2014 and danke to Germany and Mutti, we got millions of them. Mostly uneducated, single guys. @muck interestingly mentioned in a different thread that many are leaving though, but many are still looking to come over here. Not only Syrians, at this point, half of Africa would like to come here.

There was an article years ago stating that Greece should transfer by ships all the illegal immigrants in Western Sahara, a stateless region with nobody to object, and call the UN to provide care for the people. At the end the author suggested that every illegal should be given a thank you letter by the Greek govt for his choice to visit out country and a free copy of the ''Survival in the desert'' manual. Not sure if the last was serious or some weird humor.
