Lawrence Clement MITCHELL. Pilot Officer Royal Air Force
Born 24 October 1915 to James Rowan and Florence Adelaide Mitchell, nee Redburn at Pasadeua, Kensington Road, Holywood County Down.
On the 11 February 1938 he was flying a Bristol Blenheim I K7119, from 144 Sqn RAF Hemswell with Cpl George Henderson (25) and AC1 Clifford Alfred Smith (19) when the plane hit tree in snowstorm at Oulton, near Aylsham, Norfolk being destroyed by fire, killing all three on board, he was aged 22.

At rest in Holywood Cemetery, Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland.
