And sorry for the late reply, the location and date is correct but but these guys are Navy EOD (Su altı Savunma-SAS) or Underwater Offense Teams in English. Not the primary Naval SF unit of the Turkish Navy which is SAT
And for the Thompsons like kadir said, it was the standard issue SMG for the team learders/officers of the Turkish Armed forces since from the Korean War up untill 1980s. They later changed them with the MKEK made MP5 sub-machine guns which was also using in 1970s by armed forces but not became as a standard issue SMG yet...
These are the regular mountain troopers of the Land Forces Kadir, not Gendarmerie et all. And also some images are already shared by me. Please check the topic before sharing photos since ve just got 6 pages...
And also I would like to state that the M60T Sabra, ACV-15 and Leopard 2A4 photos are from Northern Syria...
