The resistance continues. The Taliban controls the main road in Panjshir, while the resistance forces controls the mountains surrounding the main road. The NRF is taking a guerrilla warfare approach when it comes to driving the TB out of Panjshir.

Meantime clashes between different ethnic groups of the Taliban occurred as a result of an internal split in northwestern Afghanistan. One militant was killed in the conflict between the Uzbek and Pashtun communities on Friday morning in the city of Meymen, Faryab province. Four wounded, including one civilian, were taken to a local hospital. The footage shows the killed commander of the Taliban group, who died at the hands of Uzbek militants. The Taliban flag was taken down in the province and control was lost.
