TF Danger Soldiers Find, Destroy Caches
TIKRIT, Iraq - Task Force Danger Soldiers confiscated several weapons caches found near Kirkuk and Jalula May 22.
A cache discovered at the Tal Ashtal airfield, south of Kirkuk, contained more than 50 artillery and mortar rounds and two rocket-propelled grenades. Explosive ordnance disposal teams destroyed the weapons.
Several caches found near Jalula totaled more than 80 rounds. The weapons have been prepared for destruction.
