Intro Self Introduction

I am a University lecturer from Malta currently researching Japan - Malta connections during the First World War and Second World War. The Japanese Navy was stationed in Malta in WW1 while Malta was still a British Colony. During WW2 a number of Maltese navy crew (then still listed as British subjects) who were on HMS Exeter ended up as prisoners of war of the Japanese. Any help with my research from members here will be appreciated and duly acknowledged. Thank you so much.
