Details of an inquiry into a friendly fire incident which cost the lives of a two-man Tornado crew will be released on Friday.
An RAF board of inquiry has examined the shooting down of the aircraft by an American Patriot missile.
The Tornado GR4, normally based at RAF Marham in West Norfolk, was brought down close to the Kuwait border.
Pilot Flt.Lt Kevin Main and navigator Flt.Lt Dave Williams were both killed in the incident on 23 March last year.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is now due to release a summary of the findings of the RAF's investigation.
The Patriot crew reportedly told investigators that the missile's computer system wrongly identified the Tornado as an enemy missile.
