As a comment to the very interesting photos @ferkoo78 (above) - in November 3, 2017, the Hungarian Ministry of Defense signed an agreement with the Russian company Vertoljoti Rossiji ( Вертолеты России) on major overhauls and support for the operation of Mi-24 assault helicopters operated by the Hungarian Armed Forces. The Russians were the only entity interested in the above order. Interestingly, due to the depletion of resources and budget constraints, the entire fleet was withdrawn from service in 2012 and stored at the Szolnok airport.
The work will be carried out on six Mi-24P helicopters, and the contract is to include a contract option for six Mi-24W - the above option may be implemented within two years from the moment of signing the contract.

Vertoljoti Rossiji also carry out a contract for the repairs of four Mi-17 multirole helicopters (with the option for the fifth). Thanks to this, the machines, also Mi-24, can be operated until the end of 2020s.
