Her name was Erika Kornelia Szeles and she was born in 1941.
She became a nurse in one of the sub-units. On November 8, in the center of Budapest, the resistance group she was with was shot at. When her friend was injured, she decided to run up to him to help him. Despite the fact that she had red cross markings, she was shot and died. She was 15 years old.
She was buried at the Kerepesi Cemetery in Budapest.
Amazing how successful the revolt was, even without any outside help. The people had essentially won.
