Warfare HAMAS attack on Israel, Oct 2023 & Iran’s Proxies.

It can. It's a kinetic penetrator aswell.

Can do a few tricks.

But besides that two Taurus one after the other hitting the same spot?

The problem is the delivery vehicle for the GBU57.

Whereas Taurus can be slung under Israeli aircraft.
The facilities are said to be 80-100m down inside the mountain. It's projected that several consecutive GBU-57s will be needed to crack that. Using Taurus would present the same problem as Israel's own heaviest 2,000 lb bunker busters; loads upon loads would be needed to hypothetically chip away the mountain. And Iran has several facilities in various areas.

The GBU-57 was specifically designed for this exact scenario.

1 at a sewerage treatment plant
1 at the Aman Logistics HQ
1 at a power station
1 in an open area

But yeah... "we totally hit the Mossad HQ guys!"

Apparently, some of those tankers had F-35s and F-22s in tow.

Makes you wonder how many of those 30+ tankers had aircraft with them with their transponders turned off (I mean aircraft based in CONUS).

Even with "people on the ground" Fordow would be a complicated thing to take.

Unless we are talking about a long distance SF raid, and even that... logistics wise that would be a nightmare and very risky.

In comparison the "Paggering" would look like a walk in the park.

Should be interesting this Thursday and Friday. News this morning Israel put out that things will happen that will make the beeper attack look simple

What I meant was: a ground operation to take/disable would be a complicated task.

Unless it is done by the people already there, I don't see Israel being able to move the manpower necessary right in the middle of an enemy territory.

Well, I suppose getting them there would be "easy", considering Iran's AD capabilities have been nullified or close to it. Something like a HALO insertion could do the trick to some extent, though I don't know if Israel has the technical capabilities to conduct such infil, in term of plane that is, especially when it comes to long distances.
Exfil however would be a whole other thing entirely.
