Warfare HAMAS attack on Israel, Oct 2023 & Iran’s Proxies.

Nobody played anybody, it's all much more prosaic.
Trump has been saying for ages that Iran can't have nukes.
Bibi has been saying for ages that Iran can't have nukes.
Now you have perfect star alignment:
1. Both men in power (second Trump term, so little F***s in general).
2. All potential vectors of retaliation either severely compromised or completely neutralized - Hezbollah (by the far the biggest one), Syria, Houthis and Iraq militias.
3. Israel took on itself the initial and the harshest brunt of Iranian retaliation, whilst neutralizing it's air defenses and paving the way for Americans. Thus leaving to Americans the relatively easy part of the job - minimal risk, minimal involvement, minimal political fallout.
That is all.

Wednesday: President Trump said Wednesday that Iran still wants to negotiate with the U.S. and even proposed sending a delegation to the White House, but that it was getting "very late" for talks

or just as France did in 1940, the Palestinians could surrender, hand over their weapons, leaders and the hostages, and Israel could run the top level of local government, from inside Israel.

Heh yeah, no.

I know it's quite the funny thing to do to consistently pull the "France surrendering lol" thing, but as far as I know, in 1940, France wasn't a terrorist state. Nor was it governed by a terrorist government. Nor was it conducting terrorist acts. Nor was it involved in taking hostages to use them as leverage.

So... your comparison... let's say it is of very bad taste, to put it in a civil way.

As for the UN and the EU clutching their pearls over Hamas and Gaza... Bitch please.
The Eu and the UN are filled to the brim with antisemitic, Hamas sympathizers. Every EU country has substantial numbers of people openly embracing Hamas and their actions, and equally substantial numbers of elected representatives embracing and condoning Hamas and Hezbollah. Even celebrities. All of the Gretas, Ruffalos, etc... and other proud liberals in western countries.

France lost 100000 men in the first phase of World War II, some of them securing "Dynamo"

Terrible strategy, no back up plan, terrible politics that ended in the armistrice instead of moving the government to Algiers, yes, and we carry that burden.. But we were not an island, and had paid a high price in World War I where the war was fought on French soil.

Well congratulation, but again you didn't understand what was said and what it was about.

Here, to make it easier for you:

When a reporter asked, "Does Iran have two weeks or could you strike before that? Are you essentially giving them a two-week timeline?" Trump answered, "Well I’m giving them a period of time. We're going to see what that period of time is. But I'm giving them a period of time, and I would say two weeks would be the maximum."

And the huge losses in WW1 must have been one of the reasons France surrendered, if they hadnt, and say the french army fought a reaarguard action all the way to the south of france, all of france would look like Gaza.

The EU writes a report of 'bad stuff' in Gaza, it cant write one on bad stuff done to hostages, because it has no access, neither has the red cross. What is the purpose of the report?

I'd imagine the iranians were pretty hard of hearing, Trump says zero, they say 55% enrichment, lets meet again in a month.

I think we can say Trump does not have massive patience.

Just need to see how that applies to Ukr.

France has a "wishy washy" administration but it gave full support to Israel in the beginning.

And France as a country is rather supportive of Israelis, probably more than many other countries around. We unfortunately have a government tradition of being very pro-arabic dictatorships that probably started with de Gaulle´s disapproval of the six day war and the fact that they were looking for business partners and noone was there.

I am curious though of what would Israel do if the hamas surrendered.

NYT: Separately, a senior U.S. official who asked for anonymity acknowledged that the B-2 attack on the Fordo site did not destroy the heavily fortified facility but severely damaged it.

If you do not understand, I will not explain
