Yes I know, but they're the same people, just on different sides of the armistice lines, and some Arab Israelis consider themselves Palestinians. The regime's position is that Israel is "occupied Palestine" and the Arab Palestinians there will be "liberated", so that's why it's especially ironic that the people they claim to stand up for would be killed in an attack. Everyone with a working brain who hasn't succumb to revisionist history, knows that Palestinians as a distinct people is largely an invention of the PLO in 1964.
