That would mean Turkey recognizing it supports a proscribed terrorist organisation, which means Turkey could be expelled from the NATO group.
Something, which I doubt Erdo is willing to risk, too much money to be made from the West.

Turkey already displayed its support to, and collaboration with, terror groups in Syria, along with very loud attacks on Israel. Even threatening to invade Israel.
Unfortunately a country that is a NATO member cannot be expelled or suspended until found in clear material breach of the treaty. And even then, there is no procedure to suspend/expel that country.
Material breach means either:
-a repudiation of the treaty not sanctioned by the present Convention.
or
-the violation of a provision essential to the accomplishment of the object or purpose of the treaty.
Turkey's justification for intervention and invasion of Israel would be waved as being nothing different from their intervention in Libya or Nagorno-Karabach. Which, in themselves, are "less worse" than the recurrent flares between Turkey and Greece.
But in any case nothing constituting a "material breach" of the treaty.
So, unless Turkey decides to leave, it is here to stay.
Furthermore a strike on Hamas in Turkey would not necessarily be considered as a reason to summon Article 5 either. Because that would not be a strike against Turkey, nor a strike against NATO or NATO's interests; but a strike against a terror group that happens to be in Turkey.
NATO, as an alliance, has nothing to do with it.

Is it me but why does it appear that there are infinite amounts of fake profiles on Facebook with almost nothing on them and trolling pro Israeli pages? calling everything Palestine and not Israel, Nazis, stolen lands, genocide, personal attacks galore, etc? Are these bot accounts set up to flood with spam posts with each separate account to drown out any signal with their gibberish noise? Asking because not one of them are making any sense at all and are using fallacies and trying to rewrite history online.
