What if we cut their pay?
"You are expected to go into combat; to fight for our country; to possibly be maimed or killed in the performance of your duties; and when you return home, we will, as your country's government, show our thanks to you by slashing your paycheck.
If there is one constant in the universe, it's the treatment of soldiers and veterans by civilian politicians, who have no clue as to what effect their decisions have upon those soldiers and veterans and their families.
It makes me sick every time I read about this kind of crap!
