the SNP are far from finished the tories on the other hand they are finished them and Labour polls have both on zero seats and Lib dems 6 - 0 seats the last poll had them on 3 the UK is finished and Johnson will be the last PM of the UK Scotland is a well oiled machine compared to the rest of the UK paralysed by Brexit

You forget that A Torie MP won in Ferguslie Park a Notorious scheme in Paisley ... And SNP couldn't win that .

Sturgeon is a liar ,,,,,,She said in a Live tv interview after the MP payrise vote that they would donate there expenses to charity ...They never did

She is dishonest and she appointed a dishonest rat as Justice minister . .who was caught driving without insurance that in my book says he is unfot to even attain that position .. who has blatently refused to ahere calls for a public enquiry ... from the father of a son that was murdered ..

Yet the SNP have this so called Anti bigotry law .. at footie matches whilst they are going to allow a PRO IRA March ... talk about double standards

cannot wait to see how Germany covers the £12bn once we have left???

Especially with your economy going into recession and the rest of the Euro zone - just keep printing Euro's;)

Guide to a brexiteer's mindset, volume 552:

A positive quarterly report in the UK = "Brexit is going to be great!"

A negative quarterly report in the UK = "That doesn't prove anything."

A positive quarterly report in the EU = "Even a broken clock is right twice a day."

A negative quarterly report in the EU = "They're going down!"

:p

To a degree yes . Christine lagarde getting the ECB chair says to me expect more QE in the coming years . Not a problem if the money is spent in the real economy but if that money is directed to cover financial black holes then we are going into a dog chasing its tail territory .

only time will tell

The truth of the matter being that Boris Johnson will be the biggest court jester in the world, with Trump second and Macron a close third.

at some stage you undermine any confidence in the currency and the Euro is already there as far as I am concerned

okay lets just put this one forward - the US pull the trigger on import taxes on Jerman cars - UK does the same = 1 m job losses in Germany and a 10% slash in GDP - I am pretty sure there will be rioting in the streets

he just might deliver like Trump has, ever thought about that, where Macron has failed the French by getting into bed with the Jermans

As you said before, time will tell if Macron, Trump or Johnson and the Brexit will deliver in the foreseeable future. Let Brexit happen, let Trump have a second tenure which makes no doubt considering the American Democrats and Macron? I dunno. He had a bromance with trump for a while and is very Europhile and Germanophile which are two traits I have nothing against per se; just looking forward for clear success of his policies.

Macron will be out at the next election - French far right will be in

The question is who will be next out of the EU after the UK - looks like Italy. And when the money runs out it will implode

At the risk of veering off to OT here, I doubt the French far-right and the National Rally of Marine Le Pen gets close to be elected. Marine le Pen is an opportunist like many politicians, maybe to a degree genuine about her political stance, borderline racist too and that don’t suit well with the overall French population.

The point I’m making being that, yes both our countries have endured Islamic terrorism for the past 10+ years (even more but I’m not going that far), and yes we have migrants and issues with political Islam but if Brexit or a possible Italexit or Frexit should happen; our « third world » population whether third generations or very recent arrivals wouldn’t be the main reason. Economy is the #1. You Brexiteers seems more tired of « subsiding » the EU than having Omar from Astan or Stanislas from Poland on your island.

I think that's the way it's going Jake . Politicians have had free reign for the last 40 years and what have they achieved ? A pile of debt with nothing to show for it . That oddball leaders are coming to the fore is an inevitable reaction to an already broken political system .

once Brexit is done - then it will be on to slash foreign aid and deal with you final sentence

Trump has FAR exceeded my expectations to be perfectly honest and did it with a corrupt and hostile media and "Deep State" trying to destroy him and his associates. If Boris Johnson is even half as effective, then good for the UK.

Has done what the electorate voted him in to do - its actually quite simple

The problem with the UK is that a lot of MP's seem to have forgotten the result of the referendum - their job is to follow the will of the electorate - not their own interest

What really annoys me is they have now gone on 5 week holiday - they need to get on it and Boris should have cancelled the summer recess

He's no worse than what preceded him . There are certain sections of the political class who critique trump , brexit , le pen , salvini etc and that's fine . But that same political class also fail to come up with any credible alternative past the neo liberal corporate status quo we ve all been living for the last half century .

You guys have not been shy in QE either.

And at 88% of debt on GDP, the UK has a worse situation than the EU (81%). ;)

agreed - but we have stopped - where the euro zone seems to think it can still go on

At least we will have another £12bn to offset after Brexit and we need to slash Foreign Aid to zero as well - or spend all the foreign aid on building up our armed forces - the only aid I want to see is being dropped from a great height on someone:oops:

Ferguslie Park does not have a constituency he won a council seat council elections are like holyrood elections the councillor in question won 73 votes ffs that's how ludicrous the system is everything is set up to stop SNP getting majority's in Holyrood and councils all gerrymandered by Labour and the Lib Dems

actually there pay rise goes to charity ... more spin and lies from the unionists https://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/snp-mps-urged-to-donate-big-pay-rise-to-charity-1-3833140
